and Marcus Foley explore the nature of relationships in metalware
in an exhibition at e.g.etal.

Dore Stockhausen Bangle: Routine
2002 Acrylics, acrylic paint, leaf gold, 925 silver.
This piece is one of a series of four bangles symbolising
daily routine. Constructed by layering sixteen similar but
slightly varying shapes it is hinged at the corners which
enables the form of the whole bangle to change constantly,
but in a repetitive way.

Marcus Foley Brooch 'Boat' 2002
925 silver, balsawood, paper mache
'Boat' is from a series of three brooches made under the
subtitle of 'Kids'. Initially inspired by a desire to utilise
materials I used as a child such as balsa wood, I experimented
mailing forms and covering these with tissue paper mache to
provide colour and strength. the looser, momre playful silver
constructions atop the paper mache forms are meant to be reminiscent
of kid's drawings.
